Reserve the coffee and let it cool down; When it's not too hot, you can even put it in the fridge.

Step Two

You will also need an icy glass, so we recommend that you always have one stored in the freezer to have it refrigerated when you prepare your Jamaican coffee. Another good option is to cool the glass with ice, adding cubes with a little water and turning them, then you must remove them.

Step Three

Once you have the glass very cold, pour the coffee that you had prepared along with the rum. The amount of liquor will depend on how you like it, more or less loaded, and although it is recommended to use aged rum, you can also choose the type of rum you prefer.

Step Four

Next, you must add on top of the coffee and the chantilly cream or semi-whipped cream; You can buy it already prepared or choose to make the chantilly cream at home.

Finally, sprinkle a little nutmeg over the cream and, if it seems too bitter, sweeten with a bit of sugar.
