Preparation
Roll out two sheets of dough a little. Then spread the sugar and cinnamon mixture on one of them, cover it with a second sheet, and fasten the corners. Cut the dough into equal pieces, leaving the center intact. To make an even circle, cut the corners of the workpiece. Gently roll the pieces into spirals and gently pull each piece.
Whisk the egg with a tablespoon of water then brush over the cake. Preheat the oven to 200° C and bake for about 20 minutes.
This dish can be prepared with any other ingredients: jam, Nutella, cheese or pesto. Make a few choices and you don't have to worry about party snacks anymore.
Eggs baked with potatoes
Ingredients
- 250 g puff pastry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 1 medium potato tuber
- 4 eggs
- salt, pepper - to taste
- grated cheese for decoration
Preparation
Cut one dough sheet into four pieces and roll to the chosen forms' size; The dough should cover the bottom and sides. Spread it out in the molds, make a few holes with a fork, brush the surface with olive oil, and microwave for one minute.
Meanwhile, in the remaining oil, fry the chopped onions and small cubed potatoes. Add salt and pepper after 4–5 minutes of cooking. Spread the filling into the molds, break an egg into each one, salt, and bake for 10-12 minutes at 200° C. When the dish is done, top it with grated cheese.
Peach and goat cheese puffs
Ingredients
- 400 g puff pastry
- 130 g goat cheese
- 300-400 g pitted peaches
- freshly ground pepper - to taste
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Preparation
Roll out the dough and cut it into 6 equal squares, 10 cm side. Transfer them to parchment and pierce with a fork. Brush each with goat cheese, leaving 1cm intact on each edge. Place peach wedges on top of the cheese and season with pepper. Bake the puffs for 20-25 minutes at 220° C. Pour honey on top and serve.
Patties with avocado and salsa sauce
Ingredients
- 500 g puff pastry
- 1 large avocado
- 100 g cream cheese
- 100 g salsa sauce
- salt, pepper - to taste
- 1 egg

Preparation
Roll the dough out as thinly as you can and cut it into 10-15 cm squares. Place one tablespoon of sliced or puréed avocado on half of the resulting blanks, a teaspoon of cheese, and a teaspoon of sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Cover the filling with the remaining pieces and fasten the edges of the dough. Brush the pies with a beaten egg and bake for 15–20 minutes at 200° C.
Tart with "Nutella" and nuts
Ingredients
- 250 g puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 200 g "Nutella"
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- a pinch of sea salt
- 50-100 g toasted hazelnuts
Preparation
Make a square out of the dough with a side of about 25 cm and fold the edges to form the sides. Poke a fork in the middle. Sprinkle sugar on the borders after brushing them with a beaten egg. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Then bake the dish in the oven for 15–20 minutes at 220° C. Remove the dough from the oven, brush the center with Nutella, sprinkle with sea salt and chopped nuts. Serve warm.
