Before starting with the preparation of these delicious easy vanilla cookies, the first thing you have to do is preheat the oven to 180 ºC.

Pour the 100 grams of sugar, the margarine, and the vanilla essence or vanilla sugar into a large bowl. Next, beat with a wire mixer or with some manual rods until the sugar dissolves and all the ingredients are integrated. The texture that should be is a creamy paste.
To make vanilla cookies without butter, replace it in the same proportion as vegetable oil.
Once the sugar is dissolved, and the ingredients mixed, add the egg to the mixture and continue beating to integrate with the rest of the vanilla cookies ingredients.
Place a strainer over the bowl and add the flour, yeast, and a pinch of salt over it. Shake the strainer over the bowl so that the powdered ingredients fall sifted and smooth into the mixture.
Skipping this step and pouring the flour and yeast directly into the ingredient mix will likely give your cookie dough a lumpy texture. To avoid this and get a perfect dough that gives a good result, this step is essential.
