One of the most common problems with Android smartphones is running out of space. Who has not been able to download a photo or video from WhatsApp because the phone does not have enough memory?
One solution is to buy a higher capacity SD card, but it is also possible to free up space on the phone without too much hassle. In this article, we explain the steps to follow so that you know how to free up space on an Android device.
Step One
Who eats the memory of your phone? Apps are often to blame, as they take up a lot of space. To check which ones are heavier and select which ones to uninstall, go to the Settings section of your smartphone> Applications> Manage applications. You will see how much each one of them occupies.

Another option you do not want to uninstall is choosing to click on " Clear data " to free up space on an Android mobile.
You have already gotten rid of the apps you don't need and deleted data. Isn't that enough? It is time to transfer them to the SD not to occupy the phone's internal memory.
To do this, go back to Settings> Applications> Manage applications, choose the application you want to move, then click on " Move to SD. " There are some apps that cannot be moved, so you will have to try and change the ones that can.

Finally, take a look at the photos and videos you have stored on your smartphone (in the gallery). There will be many that you can erase directly. If you want to keep them all, transfer them through Bluetooth to your computer then erase them from the phone so they don't take up unnecessary space.
The photos and files you receive from applications such as WhatsApp end up taking up many of the phone's capacity to free up easily.
